for Shane O’Dwyer and Aoife Bartley at the Munster Schools T&F
Championship held last Saturday, in
Limerick
May 2009
In
the Inter Boys Section Shane O’Dwyer,
Carrick CBS won the HJump with a jump of 1.70m and he was 2nd in the LJump
with a jump of 5.48m. Gary Cantwell, Comeragh College was 3rd in the 1500m
S/Chase In a time of 5:01:8.
In
the Senior Boys Dara Kervick,
Comeragh College was 2nd 200m in a time of 23.05.
Keith Smith also Comeragh College was 2nd in the 110mH
and3rd LongJump with a jump of 6.40m.
In
the Minor Girls Section Eimear Bartley,
Scoil Mhuire , was 3rd in the Shot Putt with a throw of
8.78m.
In the Senior Girls Section
Aoife Bartley, Scoil Mhuire won the 100mH in a time of 17.99 and The
Triple Jump with a jump of 11.13m. Aoife
was 2nd in the Long Jump with a jump of 5.21m. Hannah Trehy, who
trains with Carrick on Suir A.C. but goes to
Cashel C.S. was 2nd in the 100mH with a time of 18.67 and 3rd
in the 400m In a time of 69.51.
Our athletes will be attending the
Munster U.9 to U.11 Team & U.12/U13 T&F Ch in Waterford on 6th
& 7th June and the Munster U.14 to U.19 T&F Ch in
Waterford on 20th & 21st June.

Brophy won the Ball Throw with a throw of 30.35m and he was 3rd
in the LJump
with a jump
of 3.30m. Craig Cooke was 2nd in the Ball Throw with a throw of
29.15m. John O’Dwyer
was 3rd
in the 500m in a time of 146.79. Our Relay Team was 3rd with a
Team of Emmet Whelan, John O’Dwyer, Cian Kinsella and Oran Brophy and
Craig Cooke.

Kehoe won the Ball Throw with a throw of 33.17m he was 2nd
in 65mH in a time of 11.89,
2nd in the Shot Putt with a throw of 6.35m and 3rd
in the HJump with a jump of 1.05m. Oisin Brophy won the Shot Put
with a throw of 6.69m. Aaron
Fogarty was 2nd in 60m, 3rd in 600m in a time
of 2.01.5 and 5th in the LJump with a jump of 3.40m.

U.13 Edward Carroll was 2nd
in the Shot Putt with a throw of 8.90m and 3rd in the Javelin
with a
Throw of
15.98m.
Darragh Shelly was 2nd
in the LJump with a jump of 4.11m and

Michael Dineen was
5th in the
LJump with a jump of
3.84m. Our U.13 Relay team was
2nd with a team of Conor and Darragh Shelly, Mark Kehoe,
Michael Dineen

U.15 Cormac Fahy had Double Titles when he won the 100m in a time of 12.53 and
the 200m
In a time of
26.16. Sean Dunphy was 2nd
in the Shot Putt with a throw of 9.42m.

U.18 Shane O’Dwyer won the 100m in a time of 11.61 and he was 2nd
in the LJump with a Jump of 5.46m and 2nd in the Shot with a
throw of 8.40m.
Jnr Men
Keith Smith won 4 Titles when he won the 110mH in a time of 16.12, the
Triple Jump with a
Jump of 12m,
the Shot Putt with a throw of 8.47m and the Javelin with a throw of 39.54m
he was
2nd
in the 100m with a time of 11.43 and 2nd in the High Jump with
a jump of 1.80m. Dara Kervick
won the 100m
in a time of 11.30 and the High Jump with a jump of 1.80m. Our Jnr Men
Relay team of
Conor
O’Sullivan, Shane O’Dwyer, Keith Smith and Dara Kervick had a
convincing win with a time of 47.89.
Girls
U.10 Kerri Ann Whelan won the Ball Throw with a throw of 23.43m.
Aoife Doyle was 2nd in the
LJump with a
jump of 3.11m, 3rd in the 60m with a time of 9.96 and 3rd
in the 500m with a time of 1.50.72.

U.11 Eimer Long was 2nd in the HJump with a jump of 1.05m. and
Shauna Twomey was 3rd with a jump
Of 1.05m.
Our Girls U.11 had a convincing win in the
Relay with a Team of
Aoife Doyle, Eimer Long, Cora Maher and Shauna Twomey.

U.13 Kelly Ann Doyle won Treble Titles when she won the 60mH in a time of
10.34, the HJump
with a jump of 1.20m and the Javelin with a throw of 13.96m.
She was 2nd in the 600m with a time of
1.50.
Sinead
Cosgrave was 3rd in the
800m with a time of 11.93.
Naoimi Ryan was 3rd in the High Jump with a jump of
1.15m. Our Relay Team
was 3rd with a team of

Fitzgerald won 4 Titles when she won the 75mH in a time of 12.45; The 80m
in a time of 10.90, the 200m in a time of 29.30; the Javelin with a throw
of 24.06m. Eimear Bartley won
the Shot with a throw of 10.64m and was
2nd in the LJump with a
jump of 4.03m and 2nd

Bartley won 3 Titles when she won the 100mH with a time of 15.78;
the TJump
with a Jump
of 10.99; the
Javelin with a throw of 25.08m.
Aoife was 2nd in the HJump with a jump of 1.55m and 2nd
in the Ljump with a jump of 4.90m. Our
Girls U.18 were 2nd in the 4x100m Relay with a team of
Michelle Kehoe, Aoife Bartley, Hannah Trehy and Colleen Kennedy.

Relay Team were 2nd
in the 4 x100m with a team of Aoife Bartley, Tara Fogarty, Hannah Trehy,
